Our team were asked to put forward a tapered scheme for a large block of student accommodation. The design needed to comply with British Standard 6229. Given the specific use and design intentions of the project the insulation requirement needed to be non-combustible.
Working with the architects, main contractor and roofing contractors, our design team were able to create and supply a scheme that was efficient, worked within various height restrictions and conformed with the British Standard. All material was supplied to a carefully worked out phasing schedule, ensuring a well-managed delivery and installation.
