Why use Tapered Insulation?

Tapered insulation is the most cost-effective way to drain and insulate a flat roof at the same time.

Systems can be installed over metal, timber or concrete decks and are quicker and more cost effective than timber firings, screed laid to falls or structural falls.

Incredibly versatile and capable of providing effective drainage for the most complex of roofs.

High compressive strength allows the installation of big foot type systems for roof plant and equipment (subject to engineer's calculations).

Linroc Elite - Hybrid Solutions

Linroc Elite is a bespoke hybrid system which combines one or more materials to achieve the desired performance by combining the best attributes of the materials used.

Linroc Pure-k (EPS)

Probably the most versatile of all tapered solutions. Available in an infinite range of falls, allowing huge flexibility to overcome localised deflection on site and alter existing drainage strategies.

Linroc k-Torch

High performance bitumen faced insulation available in a range of falls and finishes to suit various membrane types. High lambda value means thinner systems to suit restricted threshold and parapet heights.

Linroc k-Fix

High performance insulation mechanically fixed available in a range of falls and finishes to suit various membrane types. High lambda value means thinner systems to suit restricted threshold and parapet heights.

Linroc k-Bond

High performance tissue faced insulation available in a range of falls and finishes to suit various membrane types. High lambda value means thinner systems to suit restricted threshold
and parapet heights.

Linroc k-VIP

VIP’s are used in areas of compromised threshold and parapet heights. Usually combined with other materials to create the required falls. They have a very high thermal value, 0.007 W/mK, which keeps thickness to an absolute minimum.

Linroc k-Stone

High density stonewool provides excellent acoustic and fire performance, available in a range of falls and compatible with most membrane types.

Linroc FoamGlas

FOAMGLAS is a cellular glass insulation system suitable for use under any compatible membrane. Available as an A1 non-combustible option with very high compressive strengths, whist providing good thermal performance and creating falls to facilitate efficient drainage.
