VIP’s are used in areas of compromised threshold and parapet heights. Usually combined with other materials to create the required falls. They have a very high thermal value, 0.007 W/mK, which keeps thickness to an absolute minimum. They form part of a system and require a weighted U Value calculation to be carried out to ensure compliance.
